Schools can encourage students to walk to school and are invited to register walking events by 9 September 2011 to receive free merchandise.
Walking can reduce car trips, be great for your health and also the environment. Walking to school is an important way for children to make up part of the 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity they need every day for good health. Why not walk with them, spend some time together and get active yourself!
