Event Description:
Great Strides is our annual walkathon event located at both Princes Park, Carlton North and Lake Weeroona, Bendigo. You can choose to participate in either a 3km or 6km event around the course with celebrity appearances at Princes Park from Julie and Daryl Corletto, post event massages, give-away bags, a BBQ and many more activities all included in the registration fee! The whole family will be kept entertained so be sure to bring along a picnic to enjoy in the atmosphere afterwards! The flat track is appropriate for all ages and abilities with even dogs welcome to participate! All funds raised on the day will go to support the programs and services provided by Cystic Fibrosis Victoria to over 700 families and individuals living with cystic fibrosis in Victoria. A baby is born with CF every four days. 1 in 25 individuals are unaware healthy carriers of the CF gene. Help support those living with CF by gathering your family and friends and participating in this fantatsic walkathon event!
